KhatiJi :
Let’s go with the word “ KhatiJi ”. This word has it’s own identity in Rajasthan.
“ Khati “ is one among many caste in India, where the people of this caste mainly works as wood carvers / carpenters / wooden handicraft / Interior Decorators.
Sculptures :
As we all know about the word “ Sculptures “
Means, an artistic form in which hard or plastic materials are worked into three-dimensional art objects. The designs may be embodied in freestanding objects, in reliefs on surfaces, or in environments ranging from tableaux to contexts that envelop the spectator.
FIRST GENERATION :
Banwari ji jangid A.K.A ( also known as) Khati Ji has moved from Fathepur (A small village in Rajasthan) to Hyderabad in 1989 and worked with some wood carving artisans, later on he persuaded the work from carving to decorating homes of Hyderabadi Nawab’s, from then he got a name KHATI JI.
SECOND GENERATION :
Ashish Jangid born in Fathepur, Rajasthan and raised in Hyderabad, from young age he started working with his father and has helped 1000’s of craftsman to uplift and sustain the dying age old tradition of of India.
Also Ashish has started collecting some unique sculptures from different corners of India and then he got a thought of starting a Online Art Gallery for art lovers and started thinking for name of the company and decided to name it as “ KHATIJI SCULPTURES “. And started this website so that anyone from anywhere in the whole world can see the beauty of art and unique collection.
KhatiJi Sculpture is about bringing the world a little closer together. We discover the arts and antiques( vintage products ) and best designs from artisans and craftsmen from all over India, and deliver them at exceptional value to our members.
KHATIJI Sculpture is mainly Started For arts, handicrafts, antiques & vintage Decor lovers, KhatiJi Sculpture focuses on products with unique, high quality craftsmanship; unmistakably local designs that feel at home anywhere in the world.
